It was so exhilarating to land in Heathrow! I spent the next hour attempting to find an uber/cab/anything with four wheels please…. and breathed a huge sigh of relief when I made it to my student accommodation. My phone’s battery died just as I stepped through the doors.
This is where I had my first meal in London! It is on Pratt street which makes me think of everyone back in Brooklyn.
I bought some proper blankets!
The National Portrait Gallery was high on my list of places to visit.
A small french cafe in Pimlico.
Each bridge is so different! I liked this pink one and the shadows that it cast on the road.
I went on an extra nerdy tour of the Houses of Parliament.
The city was beautifully lit up after I left!
Tate Britain was gorgeous! I couldn’t bring myself to leave. There have been musicians playing inside the galleries of many of the museums I have visited. Listening to live music inspired by paintings is so impactful.
This is the book I’m reading at the moment. It has been nice to have a calming activity while getting used to the madness of a new and exciting city.
To the right of the photo is a TURMERIC LATTE!!! I have a new favourite drink.
Turmeric latte!!! I don’t know Lily!!! On second thought…..I do know you are one adventurous young woman!! So glad we’ve found your blog. Now hope you have time with classes to post! Love you. XO N & G
